Pretty In Pink

This weekend I had the pleasure of being with a friend who is engaged to marry in October. We started the weekend off with a 'Bridal Party Soiree' watching the new classic comedy, Bridesmaids with a few tasty treats. It was fun getting to know the other bridesmaids as well as have an excuse to bake and buy all things pink.

The weekends are always a bit hectic; as much as I like enjoying afternoon movies and looking forward to "cheat day" food, it is rare that I have the opportunity to just lounge.

Sunday afternoons are my usual hair-booking day for clients, but today I was able to enjoy going to morning church with my husband followed by a pleasant bridal shower and a lazy evening spent preparing meals and outfits for the week. I'm looking forward to the next available weekend of relaxation!
